I bring that expertise as well as over 16 years of experience with me into your home when I care for your upholstered fabrics.  Then we’ll decide what will be the best approach and why. Each manufacturer recommends a specialized cleaning method, and best of all, you’ll know up front what we can and can’t do! This way there’s no surprises! Here are some things to be concerned about in your furniture fabrics.    Furniture comes in various type of fabrics and it is important that we determine what type it is.  There are so many fabrics out there now. Some of them are rather simple and come clean quite readily. Others may have shrinkage issues, they might bleed their color from one pattern to another (example- a floral pattern may bleed red to another flower that is blue), they might "brown-out," they might stubbornly hold on to body oils or they might lose a shade or two in the cleaning process. These things are possible if the cleaning isn't done correctly. We have the ability to clean your piece properly. Even if you don’t choose us,  please be sure when you get a quote to make certain that the company is taking these things under consideration!  Here’s a final note: If they use the wrong cleaning agents and/or too much moisture, they will ruin some fibers and possibly the entire piece of furniture. I'll choose the best method and best cleaning agents that are correct for cleaning YOUR piece of furniture.     NOTE: We do not clean silk or rayon fabrics.  Silk furniture is very risky for any cleaning method other than dry cleaning. Rayon, to put it simply, should be banned from the face of the earth!!  If you have a rayon piece of furniture, I feel for you!  However, DO NOT have it cleaned.  It is not cleanable and will be ruined after any attempt to clean it. The best you can do is to dry vacuum it.
