Prepare your carpet for
the most thorough cleaning ever!!:
To assist us in giving you the most thorough cleaning you have ever seen, we ask that you prepare in the following ways:
1) Well before we arrive, please remove any breakables from the area to be cleaned, because anything you wish us to clean under must not have anything sitting on it that could fall off. This includes lamps, porcelain, china, crystal, knick-knacks, and basically anything that is not attached.
2) If you want the carpet under your furnishings cleaned, we need you to move all furniture such as sofas, chairs, dining room chairs, small end tables, floor lamps, magazine lamps, etc out of room we are cleaning. A good place for these items may be in the kitchen or back patio / deck. We usually will leave these items where you placed them. We do this because it is a hassle for you to have remove those unnecessary plastic tabs we would have to place under each item’s leg. However, if you prefer, we will be happy to put them back with tabs under them at your request. Just let us know.
3) The technician will be happy to move your furnishings as long as he will not have a risk of injuring himself or damaging your precious furnishings. A nominal charge of $.07/sq. foot for entire room will be applied for furniture moving.
4) VERY IMPORTANT: Please give the carpet a quick vacuum before we come, just to get the larger particles. Our extremely powerful equipment is designed for deep cleaning, and ironically, large surface particles can clog it up and disable it. So get the big stuff with your vacuum, and we’ll take care of the hard, deep cleaning. If you want us to move your sofas, please make sure you have vacuumed under them as well. ALSO: If we are cleaning furniture, please lift cushions and clear out any debris such as toothpicks, coins, candy wrappers, dog treats, paper clips, food particles, etc.
5) Please do not move furniture up, to one side or to the center of the room. Either move it out of the room (see above #2) or ask us to move it (see above #3). We always pre-treat the traffic areas, areas in front of furniture and any exposed spots. We can’t do this if they are covered with recently moved furniture.
6) Alert our cleaning technician if anyone is sensitive to cleaning agents.
7) Keep small children or pets away from the cleaning area. Our high powered equipment could frighten or even injure them. Also, we will need to leave your front door open a crack for our hoses to run out to our truck through, so if you don’t want your pets to escape, you will need to lock them in a room and tell the technician not to open that door.
8) We will be hooking up to your outside water faucet, so if your outside water is turned off (for the winter), we will need you to turn it on for us.
9) Please reserve a parking space for us closest to the door we will be using. Your carpet will dry faster if we don’t have to run lots of extra vacuum hose to our truck.
10) Please place “post-it” notes on any spots you wish to alert us to. This will ensure that you don’t forget any of them and we don’t miss anything.
11) Lastly, take a minute to look over the “After Cleaning Instructions,” because you will find useful tips to speed drying and keeping your carpet clean longer. Thanks for choosing Cleancare, Inc. We look forward to working for you!
